EVE Energy Signs Grid Storage Supply Agreement with Southeast Asian Developer

EVE Energy has entered into a multi-year supply agreement to provide large-format lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells for a grid-scale energy storage developer operating across Southeast Asia, according to a company statement. The deal extends EVE's footprint beyond its established consumer electronics and EV cell businesses into utility-scale storage.

A growing storage cell business

EVE Energy has invested in dedicated production lines for its large-format storage cells over the past several product cycles, positioning the segment as a growth pillar alongside its automotive cell supply relationships. Utility-scale storage demand has been rising alongside renewable energy build-out across Southeast Asian grids, where storage helps smooth output from intermittent solar and wind generation.

Terms of the agreement were not fully disclosed, though the companies indicated the supply arrangement would span multiple years and support several planned storage installations.
